Renting a roll-off in a small city such as Portland, IN often comes down to who will drive out and how soon. HBI Roll Off gives you one number to try, then connects you with a local provider if one covers your address.
Say what you are clearing and about how much of it there is. Size, rental length and price all get settled with the hauler serving Portland, because those three change from one place to the next.
How the line works for Portland callers, and what stays with the provider.
Containers and portable restrooms are often sold by separate companies. Start with a single call and ask about both.
Concrete, brick and dirt need short-walled containers and a clear fill line. Mention them first so the right box gets sent.
The line takes calls 24/7, including nights, weekends and holidays. Delivery times are set by the local provider.
You deal with a hauler serving your area, where one covers your address. Their rates and rules are the ones that apply.
Describe what is going in rather than guessing yards. Roofing, concrete and household clutter all load very differently.
A few things worth knowing before a truck heads to Portland.
Yes. The line at (833) 871-6766 is open 24/7, so you can call whenever the job comes up. Delivery times are separate and depend on the Portland provider's own schedule, which often runs on business hours.
Go by the job, not the house. A single bathroom or small cleanout in Portland often fits a 10 yard, a kitchen or several rooms of flooring a 15, and a mid-size reroof or full-floor remodel a 20. Going one size up usually costs less than a second haul.
Sometimes. It depends on whether a provider serving Portland has a container open and a truck with room on its route. Your odds improve if you call early in the day and stay flexible on size. Nobody can promise it for every address.
Ask for both on the same call. Remodels and builds in Portland often need the pair, and some providers carry both while others handle only one. If they are separate companies, you will have two deliveries to coordinate.
On private property, usually not. On a street, sidewalk or other public right of way, many towns do require one, and the rules differ across IN. Check with the Portland public works or permit office before the drop-off date.
Usually, as long as the container is sized for the weight. Layers matter: two layers on a Portland roof can double the tonnage. Have your square count ready, and ask whether shingles need to stay separate from other debris where you are.
